Cancellation and Complaints Policy
Effective 30 September 2026. Last updated 12 October 2026. This policy explains how Perriton Learning handles changes to confirmed educational engagements, refunds, delivery concerns, and complaints. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
Effective: 30 September 2026

1. When this policy applies
This policy applies to a paid educational service confirmed directly with Perriton Learning. The website's local enquiry form does not transmit a message, create a booking, or collect payment. An on-screen form result alone therefore creates no paid order to cancel.
Before you commit, the confirmation should identify the service, price, delivery date or period, relevant access arrangements, and any special cancellation terms. A special term must be explained and agreed before it applies. If a mandatory legal right provides greater protection, that right takes precedence.
2. How to request a change
Send a cancellation, rescheduling request, or complaint to learning@perritonlearning.com using your normal email service, or contact us by telephone or post using the details below. The local website form is not a communication channel to our team. Please do not rely on its reference as proof that notice has reached us.
Include your name, the confirmed service, the scheduled date or service period, and the change or resolution you are requesting. An invoice or booking reference is helpful if one was issued, but a particular form of wording is not required. Do not include full card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Live sessions and workshop bookings
For a one-on-one session, group session, or workshop place, a cancellation received at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled start is eligible for a refund of the fee paid for that booking. You may instead request rescheduling, subject to an available suitable time.
If less than twenty-four hours' notice is given, contact us as soon as possible. We will consider a reschedule or an appropriate refund based on whether the reserved service can reasonably be reassigned, work already performed, and the reason for the change. We do not apply an undisclosed automatic penalty.
4. Late arrival and non-attendance
Please join a live session at the confirmed time. If you are delayed, notify us promptly. Where practical, the session may continue for its remaining scheduled time; extending it may depend on availability. We will explain any proposed additional charge before you agree.
If a participant does not attend and provides no notice, we will review the circumstances before determining any amount to retain for the reserved service. Relevant factors include the confirmed terms, the ability to reassign the booking, and whether a technical or other exceptional problem prevented attendance.
5. Online courses and digital access
Before a course booking, we should confirm the subject, format, included materials, access period, and the point at which access or delivery begins. If you cancel before access is supplied and no agreed service has begun, the course fee paid is refundable.
After access or delivery starts, a cancellation is considered in light of what has been provided, any unused part, the agreed terms, and applicable law. Receiving a digital file does not remove a remedy for material that is defective or materially different from the agreed description. Where special consent is legally required for immediate delivery, it must be addressed separately.
6. Learning plans and custom development
For a personalized plan, learning-materials project, or curriculum-development engagement, the written scope should identify the deliverables, required customer inputs, start point, and relevant milestones. If you cancel before work begins, any fee paid for work not started is refundable.
If work has begun with your authorization, we will discuss the completed work and remaining scope. Any proposed retained amount should reflect the agreed work actually completed or a clearly disclosed, authorized cost. We will provide an explanation rather than treating every custom project as automatically non-refundable.
7. Revisions, delays, and scope adjustments
A custom engagement should specify the review and revision arrangement. If a supplied deliverable does not meet the confirmed scope, explain the mismatch so that correction or another remedy can be considered. A request for additional subject matter beyond the agreed scope may need a separate quotation.
If required customer information is delayed, we will discuss the effect on delivery before assuming a new schedule. If we cannot deliver the agreed work within a reasonable revised arrangement, cancellation and an appropriate refund of undelivered work can be considered. Changes should be recorded clearly.
8. Monthly learning support
The $139 monthly package includes up to four online consultations, progress review, and additional learning materials for the agreed month. The confirmation should identify the service period and scheduling arrangement. The monthly label does not itself authorize automatic renewal or recurring card charges.
You may tell us that you do not want a future month at any time before that month is confirmed. A request to end the current month will be assessed against services already delivered and the remaining agreed support. Any recurring arrangement must separately explain billing, renewal, and a straightforward way to cancel.
9. Changes initiated by Perriton Learning
If we need to cancel a booked live service, we will offer a suitable alternative where available or a refund of the fee paid for the cancelled service. You are not required to accept a different date or a different format solely because the original arrangement cannot be delivered.
If an event beyond either party's control disrupts delivery, we will discuss a reasonable alternative. Where the agreed service remains undelivered and an alternative is unsuitable, an appropriate refund will be considered. This policy does not use disruption as a blanket reason to retain all payments.
10. Refund handling
When a refund is agreed or required, we will explain the amount, the reason, and the payment method to be used. Refunds should normally return through the original method where that is available. We do not ask you to provide a full card number in an email to receive a refund.
The time at which funds become visible may depend on a bank or payment provider. We will provide relevant confirmation when a refund has been initiated and help clarify an unexplained delay. We do not promise a processing time controlled by another organization.
11. Making and resolving a complaint
Describe what happened, which service was involved, and what outcome you consider appropriate. Relevant confirmations, exercises, or screenshots can help, but remove another person's private information where possible. We will consider the agreed scope and your account of the problem.
We aim to acknowledge concerns and explain the next step promptly. If more information is needed, we will say what would help. Potential resolutions include an explanation, correction, redelivery, rescheduling, a proportionate refund, or another agreed remedy. We will communicate any material reason for delay rather than guarantee an unverified resolution deadline.
12. Further rights and policy changes
If you disagree with our response, you may ask for a further review and explain the unresolved point. This process does not prevent you from using an available payment-provider dispute procedure, contacting a consumer authority, or exercising a legal remedy. Honest customer feedback is not prohibited.
Updates apply prospectively and do not remove a right associated with an existing confirmed booking. Keep the service confirmation and relevant correspondence so that the arrangement is clear. Questions about cancellations or complaints should be directed to learning@perritonlearning.com.
