Cookie Policy

Effective 30 September 2026. Last updated 12 October 2026. This policy describes cookies and related technologies associated with the Perriton Learning Shopify-hosted website and explains the limits of the custom enquiry form.

Effective: 30 September 2026

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Cookies and related technologies

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website or service may place in a browser. Cookies can support essential website functions, remember a choice, or help a provider understand usage. Some last only during a browsing session; others remain until they expire or are deleted.

Related technologies can include local browser storage, pixels, scripts, and identifiers attached to a device or session. Their practical effect depends on the implementation. A cookie name alone does not necessarily show everything a service does with information, so this policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Shopify storefront hosting

The website is delivered through Shopify. Shopify may process technical information and use cookies for storefront delivery, security, reliability, privacy preferences, and platform features. This can occur when you load a page even though the custom enquiry form does not transmit its field values.

Shopify's published Cookie Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy explain its platform practices. Those documents are available on Shopify's own website. The cookies that actually appear can differ with the store configuration, enabled features, installed applications, visitor location, browser, and consent choices. Not every Shopify cookie necessarily appears on every visit.

3. Essential functionality

Essential technologies may help the hosted website load, protect it from misuse, maintain a session, or remember privacy choices. These functions can involve an IP address, technical request information, and browser identifiers. Blocking all cookies or related requests may affect a hosted page or a platform function.

The custom learning enquiry interface does not provide a checkout, take card payments, or require a customer account. Other standard Shopify functions, if enabled by the store owner, have their own platform behavior. This policy does not imply that a shopping cart or customer account is necessary to read our educational service descriptions.

4. Optional analytics and preference features

Optional measurement technologies, where enabled, can help a provider understand which pages are visited, how a website performs, or whether an error occurs. Preference technologies may remember a selected language or another choice. These functions should be distinguished from technologies needed to provide a page safely.

Optional technologies can depend on the Shopify settings and any applications used by the storefront. We do not list a specific analytics provider, identifier, or retention period without a corresponding verified implementation. Where consent is required for an optional purpose, the applicable platform controls should govern that purpose.

5. Advertising and Shopify enhanced services

Certain Shopify features, including Shopify Network Intelligence when enabled, may involve data use for enhanced services and advertising-related purposes. Shopify provides privacy settings and mechanisms for consent, opt-outs, and other requests. The relevance of these features depends on what the store owner enables.

This website policy does not claim that all storefront information is exempt from legal definitions of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Those definitions and obligations vary by applicable law and the actual use of data. The custom enquiry form itself does not send its entries to an advertising service.

6. The local enquiry form

Form inputs are used locally to check completion and email format and to display an on-screen result. The form does not use its fields to create marketing cookies, send a request to Perriton Learning, or store your entries in a customer database. A locally displayed reference is not a server record.

Browser autofill, browser history, password managers, and device accessibility features operate independently of the custom form. Their behavior is controlled by your browser or device settings. Clearing a form does not necessarily clear data that a browser has chosen to retain through its own features.

7. Consent and storefront privacy choices

If a Shopify cookie banner or privacy control is shown, use it to review the available choices. Where applicable, optional purposes should remain subject to the choices supported by the configured platform. Dismissing a visual message does not by itself show that every optional provider has been disabled.

A consent setting can be specific to a browser or device. If you switch browsers, use another device, clear browser storage, or browse in a private window, you may need to make the choice again. A change to your preferences generally applies to future processing rather than deleting every past record.

8. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to review cookies, delete stored cookies, limit third-party cookies, or block some website storage. The exact options depend on the browser and its version. You can usually find them in settings relating to privacy, security, site data, or tracking protection.

Blocking or deleting cookies may affect saved preferences and platform functionality. Private browsing reduces some storage persistence but does not make a visit invisible to the hosting provider or network. Browser controls are useful alongside storefront privacy settings; they are not a universal substitute for rights requests.

9. Signals and regional rights

Some privacy laws recognize browser-based opt-out signals, and Shopify describes support for relevant controls in its documentation. Whether a particular signal applies depends on the law, the signal, and the platform configuration. We avoid claiming that an unrelated custom script overrides Shopify's handling.

If you wish to exercise a privacy right or ask about a choice that is not visible on the website, contact us using the details below. We may need enough information to locate a record or distinguish our direct communications from data held independently by a platform.

10. Third-party media and changing integrations

Loading a third-party embedded video, scheduling tool, or other external integration can involve sending technical information to that provider and may introduce additional storage or tracking. Any such integration should be considered separately from the local enquiry form and disclosed where appropriate.

The current custom sections are designed to work without an external scheduling or payment integration. If the store owner later enables an application, advertising pixel, or embedded media service, the actual cookie behavior and privacy disclosures should be reviewed at that time. A photograph used in a page is not automatically an interactive third-party embed.

11. Retention, questions, and updates

Session technologies and persistent technologies have different lifetimes. Shopify describes platform cookie lifetimes in its own policy, while additional applications may use different periods. There is no single retention duration for every cookie or for the technical records associated with a storefront.

We may revise this policy to reflect changes in site functionality or platform configuration. The updated date identifies the current version.
